My other "gift" was a 800 Pro PMK Polaris snowmobile. Soon to be used lion hunting in Wyoming. Here's a pic of it in front of our hunting shack in NE Minnesota.View attachment 11834

We are waiting on some fresh snow in the salt river range. They had a big thaw, but it looks like some fresh snow is falling there now. The young man who I plan to go with does guided hunts with dogs, but this will be more of a snowmobile, coyote hunting, dog training adventure. I've snowmobiled out west the last ten years, and this will be a chance to see some new country. He has a paying client coming out first, so I am just waiting for the call to head west. He has guided me three times (his brother is the outfitter), and were always successful with grand adventures. I even helped him to get his first deer in years after I tagged out, and he says that he owes me one.

I was lucky and got my OR "Sportspac" (mostly all the licenses and tags for hunting and fishing all year). I also scored on some nice Merino t-shirts and other clothing. Not to forget some great gift cards and misc. goodies!

Other then that got a lot of nice red wings memorabilia for my sports room in the new house we got 4 days before Christmas

I finally wore my wife down and she got me a 20x60x65 swarovski spotting scope. Thanks to a great wife, best christmas present ever!

My daughter and girlfriend got me 2 Peet boot dryers, $200 Cabela's gift card, new snowmobiling pants(not hunting, but maybe?) new Sorel slippers which will be AWESOME around hunting camp and a jillion pairs of new socks!!!!!

Pretty spoiled......... And thankful.

That's funny. My mama and daddy got each other the same Christmas present...LASIK surgery. Guess that's the gift that will keep on looking. Lol
