Can't say much about Montrose, but we are a little over 100 mile to the SW and our snow/moisture is hit and miss. The Dolores drainage is predicted to be about 100% of normal. We had lots a moisture last fall before the snows and the ground was pretty saturated. This should give is more runoff. Some of the drainages like the Animas in Durango are predicting less.

I took a trip to Durango last summer. The snow pac and the river where in pretty bad shape. I will be hunting in the Uncampagre this fall. There's usually lots of water around. I haven't been in 3 years so I'm hoping they're not power dry.

Remember one thing when you look at whether it is a "wet or dry" year. Don't gage your impressions on reservoir water. They were almost ALL created for irrigation purposes. When you visit in the fall, they are at their lowest level having served their purpose for agricultural irrigation all summer.

Just sayin............
