Weirdest, oddest, creepiest thing you've seen, or heard.

A couple of years ago a buddy and I were Mule deer hunting in Colorado, laying prone and I was trying to decide wether or not to shoot a buck we were watching. We were at 11,800’ on a steep but grassy ridge watching the other side of the valley. All of a sudden there was a loud thump and vibration through the ground, closest description to it would be like if someone hit the ground with a sledgehammer right beside you. The deer 300 yards away didn’t notice. No idea what it was, wasn’t spooky or scary, just very odd. I wound up not shooting the buck but that’s a different story

was once in the woods in north Idaho when ET beamed up the deer I had shot . that was really freaky.

My sister and I were backpacking in northern California 1987
. One night some guys show up laughing and drinking and having a good time. They weren't Yahoos or anything we just knew they were there. The next day we passed by their campsite and they were all in wheelchairs. They had dragged themselves ,gear and chairs up this trail and it wasn't any wheelchair accessable paved road. There were many places you had to scramble up piles of rocks and it was Miles long. Not creepy but unexpected. Those guys get my vote.
