Anyone give me some insite on how the draw system works? I know its a point system. But is there a set random percentage? How does non resident figure in?

Beav,
Its all explained on the WA fish and game site. Good luck drawing in WA, your going to need it and then some. WA sheep and moose are the onlt two animals worth applying for as a non res.

If you have a ton of change you can always put in for the limited entry elk hunts, but you dont get your money back if you dont draw and can only hunt spikes and itll take you 10+ years to draw. Having said that the last 4 or 5 years everyone of the auction tag holders have taken a 400+ bull, including the most recent 404 taken with the mossback crew, and the 450 non typical taken in 08. Every year a handful of the limited entry and raffle tag holders pull high 300s and low 400 inch bulls so there definatly in there. Just gunna cost you ton of change and one of the most DEMANDING hunts in the lower 48. But its really not worth it too a non res
