Wacem Triton Broadheads

I'm looking at getting some of the Wacem Triton 100g broadheads for this year. What are your guys' opinions on them? Would you recommend them or do you prefer a different broadhead? I used the Rage 2-Blades last year and killed a nice buck, but I'm looking for something more solid...

I use WacEm 100s ... Fly perfect, penetrate deep. They won't leave a giant hole like the Rages, but they do the trick.

I use the Wac'em Exit 100, awsome head, before that i used the Triton, cant go wrong either way, i Have a 100 gr Triton ill send you if you want to try it, just give me your address and its yours.

I have used wacem exits. Just as others have said, very sharp, and they fly like field points. I have had several complete pass throughs that then buried into trees.
My ONLY complaint is the blades are thin and brittle. I have not recovered one that I reused, and thats why they sell replacement blade packs I am sure.
Performance on these is a 10+.

I use the WacEm 100s like Bitterroot Bulls and 2nd that opinion! I have had 2 total pass throughs myself and only found little nicks out of the blades from hitting bone. Great broadhead! Good Hunting!!

G5 stryker is very similar to the wacem. The stryker has heavier blades and a little larger cutting dia. Both are very good heads. I just feel the stryker is a little more bang for your buck. No pun intended..lol

Yeah the broadhead design is great but the blades are thin and brittle. I did a lot of testing last year and the blades either broke off or snapped in half on almost every durability test.

If they improved the blade thickness and beefed up how they attach I would shoot them in a heartbeat.

I have had the blades curl but have never broke one, last year i went thru a rib on the entrance and it came out thru the leg bone on the exit and the blades were a little curled, i thought they held up very well. This was on a mature whitetail tho, not an elk.

Here's a pic of the entrance wound on my Muley I shot last season with the 100g wacem. Not the biggest hole but complete pass thru at 30 yards with a 420 grain arrow going 270 fps. He didn't go far.

Well placed shot..I think that is most important. Doesn't take a large diameter head built like a train if you put it right in the boiler as shown. That said, I like a good quality heavy duty head with a lot of power behind it for that less than perfect shot.

I killed my last two elk with Wac'em 100s....pass through on a 5x5 bull, and went through shoulder blade to lungs on a first year cow. They seem to fly great, and have good penetration.

Not many people know of/use Innerloc, however, they make one heck of a tough head and very sharp out the package with .029 blade thickness... They fly great too!
