I picked up a pair of vortex used so i am unsure if they are always this way...i have to adjust the diopter everytime i go from near field to far field. I dont seem to have to worry about that with my other binos. Have any of yall experienced this?

I think you have an issue. Good thing is they are warrantied, send them in and get the repaired or replaced. Go to Vortex and print off their warranty forum and send them in. I had a eye cup issue with mine when I dropped them on the concrete floor in my garage (Ya what, they can hold up just dropping them? Ha) got them back in about a week.

Call Vortex and talk to Stephanie she might be willing to send you a shipping label via email and it'll cost you nothing to send them back and she usually speeds things up! I've had several issues with some of my Vortex stuff and she has been more than helpful!
