I got these brand new last year. Have always kept them encased while in my pack or truck. They are in excellent condition, no marks whatsoever on the lenses. The couple little spots you see in the photo are just small hairs or whatever they are that float around the atmosphere and stick to glass. The body/housing is mark-free as well.
I think $850 is a deal, about $450 lower than "new" everywhere I've looked. And their Warranty transfers just fine- no questions asked. I could probably dig up the original box and case if you wanted that stuff too.
