A vest is great for layering or for extra warmth to take along on a backpack hunt if the weather changes quickly. They are light and can make a huge difference!

Just picked up the Cabelas Wool Vest today. I like it!

I have a couple, an old windstopper that I have had for 15 years. Just picked up a Kuiu guide vest. Maybe the windstopper will get retired. I also have an OLD cabelas down vest for cold weather. Cant beat them.

I love using vests! I tend to always run a little hot so i prefer a vest with either a short or long sleeve base over a jacket unless it is really cold. I have a under armour vest and a kuiu guide vest, really like them both although the kuiu is better quality.
