Orchard Mesa Market; they'll process/store/freeze/ship, whatever you want. There is another processor over in Fruita I've heard positive things about but I can't think of their name and Orchard Mesa Market is who I've used when I get lucky.

I've known the owners for years and have had no problems with then. But then I have only taken a couple of animal into them in the last 30 years.

My only real problem with them is the cost, but then prices are going up everywhere.

Thanks guys for the info! I'll have my buddy give them a call. We are old hands at cutting up and wrapping our own meat. We just mainly need to get it froze while we finish up the hunt. After it's froze we pack it in dry ice for the trip home. Appreciate the help!

I have everything packed and ready to go. If all goes well, we should be in the Bookcliffs in a few days. Just wanted to shout out a big "Thank You" to everyone that took the time to give me some much needed advice! I hope to be able to pay back the favor someday! Good luck on your hunts in the coming months. Maybe I can post some pictures and a great hunting story soon.

Good luck on the hunt. Be prepared for rain, that area has been getting hit real hard the last week or so.
