boy its christmas here today at my house. Got my kifaru duplex timberline 1 bag and my leica 1600b. After trying on that pack and walking around and putting some weight in it, wow what an awesome product now i really don't feel bad about spending that much on a pack.

remember the plain 1600 doesn't have angle comp but the 1600b does. just an FYI

Great pack Retterath!! You will absolutely love it. It will take a few hikes to get it adjusted right. I packed out Two Elk in mine last season and what a difference from any other pack I have owned. I used to dread heavy loads in my old packs but not the Kifaru.I still Hike once a week with 70lbs and don't mind it a bit. At 70 lbs I am running 75-80% on my hips and 20-25% on the shoulders. thanks mark, I'm so impressed with it and all the features it has and places all over for add on's and it fits great. Going to load it up and put some miles on with it. All the external pockets and pouches i wont have anything in my main compartment. lol
