unit 551 colorado mule deer 2nd season

just applied for unit 551 colorado for mule deer second season..any ideas on an area to start looking to go towards there or any suggestions about that unit would be great it will be my first time in that area

I was thinking of mule deer 2nd season in 551 as well.

Would it be a waste to get an over the counter bull elk tag?

With a herd of 280,000 animals strong its never a waste to have a elk tag in hand. All dependent on the hunter and level of motivation!
