Packers usually have a half dozen spots they drop their clients.

Why not scout it this summer?

We are planning on scouting this summer quite a bit, but it's a big unit and was just looking for some general areas to scout rather than try and scout the entire unit. As for the packers, I've heard stories of them taking their drop camp only customers to less than ideal locations unlike their guided customers, so was a little hesitant to rely on asking ours.

shoot shovel shut up, ha. that should be a fun hunt, hell id even pick up a lion tag if you don't already have the sportsmen's package. I know one thing for certain, your going to see some dandy deer, that deer tag should be a must have in your pocket. I have a buddy that lives in sun valley that hunts 48 every year with great success for both deer and elk archery. he stays tight lipped and not even I know his spots.
