I see a few posts on here regarding my topic, but nothing too recent. I see some conflicting information (probably both correct). This is a pretty hard tag to draw, so I would think any help and information would be shared openly. My question is where is the best place to start searching for a good buck? I've heard the west side of Juniper Mountain, and I've heard the northeast side near the convergence of 40, 41, and 42. I know the country is rough and services are far away. I'm just looking for some good reliable information. This is the first controlled buck tag I've drawn in 18 years. Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

with the hunt being nov10-24th, the best place to start looking is where the does are.that time of year, find the does you should find the bucks.

tends to be dry down there ,so consider water sources.
seen some nice bucks over the years in jacks creek, battle creek area. it's big country ,so bring some good glass and put it to work.
congrats and good luck.
