I'm an avid bow hunter who has hunted predominately north IDAHO my whole life. I decided to try something different this year and drew a rifle elk tag for 37 a. Was looking for any info on this unti that would get me headed in the right direction. I understand boots to ground is the best way just thought I'd try and use all resources. Looking for some good access locations to remote pockets, and info on trophy potential and health of herd. There's no doubt IDAHO has taken a hit statewide for diminishing numbers due to pressure and predators, but with perservance and grit successful hunts are still attainable. Thanks for your help from one sportsman to another.
