I drew a 36A-2 bull tag from Oct 1-30 and will be scouting and putting in trail camera's. Does Anyone know how the elk faired through this last winter? Just wondering what to expect for age class bulls in the Unit.
I don't think the winter was bad enough out there this year that they struggled. 36 doesn't produce anything too out of the ordinary as far as age class goes. Should be plenty of mature bulls around.
this past winter was pretty mild, spring was dry but past month has been pretty wet,so grass is still greener then normal. elk should be in great shape.
