Unit 33 elk?

Planning our antelope and deer hunt next year back in 21/Y.

I have 2 elk points, which should get me the elk tag in the special. Anyone have any experiemce here or should i save up for more points? Id loke to find a unit to hunt every 3 or 4 years rather than build 10 points or more.

Thoughts???

Area 33 elk has a great deal of private land, as noted in the G&F regulations. I think different land owners may offer trespass fees to get on their property but I'm not sure on that. In addition, weather is both a blessing and a curse... Snow brings elk into the area but it can basically shut you out of portions of the unit as well. Personally, if I were spending money on an out of state tag I would look elsewhere, unless you are able to hunt private land (by either knowing the right person or forking out the cash).
