OK, after multiple tanks of gas being expelled from the GMC, I'm at a loss of where to hunt for Antelope in Unit 32/33. Does anyone on here have any general recommendations for areas. I'm not opposed to doing the work but if I can get pointed in the right direction so I'm not running all over the place it would be appreciated.

acook,

I don't believe there is a unit 33 for antelope in Wyoming? For area 32 I would look at walk in area #5. It is split up a bit but should hold decent numbers of antelope. I would also get good BLM maps and go hunting. The population looks decent right now so you shouldn't have an issue finding goats.

sorry Hilltop but it is NM Unit 32/33. I wish it were Wyoming. Maybe I can draw one up there next year.

Yeah, that must be nice. It is amazing that NM holds the 2nd highest population of speed goats and we are about 10x less than the population of them in Wyoming.

The biggest goat I ever saw was in unit 31 off of highway 380 just east of unit 33. This was 2 years ago. I wish I could help but just don't know much about those areas

I saw a couple bruisers in 31 Saturday on my way to 33. I say a huge goat in 32 back in June but I haven't seen him again since then.

Thanks guys for all the info. I was successful yesterday on a 50 yd shot at a water hole. I'll try to get some px posted tomorrow. He wasn't huge (63 and change) but he was my first Antelope ever. So, I am super stoked to have taken him with the old Hoyt.
