Unit 31 Antelope

My buddy drew a unit 31 antelope tag this year. Anyone hunt this area before? Would an atv be useful in this country? We don't have time to scout and we are planning to hunt the 2nd week of the season. Is there a meat processor in Winnemucca? Thanks for any help!

Hat Six Hunter Management area encompasses unit 31, you'll need to down load the permission slip off of the Wyoming Game and Fish web site. There is nothing mentioned about ATV's but all vehicles must stay on the roads.

I screwed up. It is unit 31 in Nevada. Sorry for the confusion. Forgot that little detail.

Kings River got burned up pretty bad last fall, especially the northern part. ATVs might help you cover a little more ground but the roads up on the Montana's are pretty good.
