Unit 27 Late Rifle Bull Tag

Hi Everyone,

I posted this in the Arizona sub-forum, figured I'd get more traction in the General Elk Forum.

I drew a Unit 27 Late bull rifle tag. Has anyone else done this hunt? I am just curious to hear personal stories to better prepare myself for this physically demanding hunt.

I have. Lots of people!!! Not my kind of hunt. Seemed to be more of a meat hunt for the AZ residents. I was after something big. Had some scouted, but then the army came in opening day and ran them out. I didn't have a good plan C or D and left with tag soup.
