Unit 123

I drew a 123-1 tag and have a tentative agreement on a ranch but building a back up plan just in case. Any suggestions on elk hunts/ranches in this area. Also, I don't hunt with a tape measure but what quality of bulls can one expect in this area?

Lucky dog! I would really push for the ranch. I would put the access in the difficult but not impossible category. Some peole know the area better, maybe pm them. I would for sure hold out for a 6x6 in that area. I am not good at scoring either, and I am not sure they get as big as the 400" or whatever other places, but there are some really good branch bulls in that area. Good luck.
