I can't seem to find that information. Could you possibly provide a link? I would really appreciate it.Look up unit 61 on the ndow web site for numbers of tags in that unit before your hunt starts. Its bring your own rock to sit on as all the ones there have someone sitting on them starting mid September cow season.
Thank you very much. For numbers of tags i think you'll have to look at each hunt. Its a little better now the cow elk doesn't overlap deer season but it ends the day before in 61-71. When i hunted it last there were spike elk, cow, antelope and muzzy deer tags all going on at once. It was a zoo in 61-71.
I'll post some links tomorrow from a computer.
While there are a few deer out in the flats where the antelope live, the majority of the deer will be in the mountains mentioned above.Dont forget the 400 doe antelope tags just before too.
I was thinking more about the number of people out and the amount of travel in the area, however the foothills will have both deer and antelope and hunters for both. While there are a few deer out in the flats where the antelope live, the majority of the deer will be in the mountains mentioned above.
The antelope tags will have little if any effect on deer hunters.
Thank you. Appreciate the help.I believe in Nevada it has to be posted before there is any issue with use. Hopefully others will jump in here. Just remember that it doesn't have to have a sign on it just blaze orange paint on the tops of the posts. That was the hardest thing for me to get used to here was road going right through someone's ranch yard. I've got in the habit of trying to meet the rancher the night before or during the day before its not necessary but if someone was driving through my yard I'd like to know who. Also have gotten so good tips by showing them the respect by doing so.
