Turkey Nest

[GOSHENGRUNTER]

Founds this turkey nest while trying to locate a mid day gobbler. After a series of crow calls and a mad dash on a box call I turned to see a hen jumping from this nest and flying right by my head. my front foot was about 2 feet from the nest when she jumped. Scared the crap out of me! Been watching the nest and thank God she didn't abandon it!

They are good at hiding their nest, you do not see them that often, thanks for sharing ! At the top left is that toadstool or a egg. It's looks a little farther from the others to be an egg ?
