While shooting my bow in the yard this afternoon, the turkeys showed up again. I used the cam mounted on the bow and kept walking up to them to shoo them away (our dog is a fan of both eating and rolling in turkey crap) Last week so many roosted in the dead tree behind my bow target the rotten tree broke under the strain. Yes the fall season is open and yes I was practicing with broadheads but I didn't buy a tag for this zone plus one of my neighbors would loose her mind if she knew I killed one of them.

In the spring they steal the winemaking supplies from the mulberry tree with their willing accomplices the deer. looking out the window 20 feet from the house.

I have the same problem with Canada geese, yesterday there were over 100 sitting on my pond and the lawn. Goose crap so bad you need to wear rubber boots. Unfortunately there are here all year and nest on the pond. I do shoot a few, but just too many houses in my area.

In the spring they pick fights with their reflection in my patio door. It drives the dog nuts.

They're just any other animal that lives in close proximity to humans. Don't be fooled woods turkeys are a whole nother story.
Correct. THe wild birds I hunt upstate are not so tolerant of me. I swear they know my truck by now.

Personally, I hate them! Lived in central Minnesota all my life. DNR started transplanting them about 10 years ago and now we're infested with them! Another 5 years and there won't be any grouse
They kill the nests! The DNR whines about aquatic invasive species but what would you call that!!??? Just ranting!! LOL
