Trophy Ridge React Sight?

I was at the range the other day a guy was sighting in his new react sight. He asked me what I thought about the technology behind this sight. Basically he was asking how it worked.

From what I can find on Trophy Ridge's website it sounds almost too simple to be true.
Get your 20/30 yard pins set and as you move them up or down every other pin(40,50,60) move with them up or down. The 40 moves more than the 30, 50 moves more than the 40, and the 60 moves more than the 50, as you increase yardage as does the movement with the pins. If that makes sense?

All of this sounds well and good and Trophy Ridge guarantees that, mathematically, once you get your 20/30 pins set everything else with fall into place. Well, that was not the case this guy was driving tacks with his 20/30 and was shooting about 6" low at 40 consistently.

Does anybody have any experience with these sights to give a pointer or share some knowledge maybe I'm/we're not understanding?

I would say his bow may not be tuned. I set one up for a friend and after I got the 20 and 30 set I shot out to 40,50, and 60 and it was right in the money. Simplest sight I have ever set up. I thought it was great!

Hi, I am in the process of dialing in with this very sight! I had a very hard time with this initially as I had my favorite archery store install and level up the sight and he had sited it in to 20 yards and paper tuned it for me. I shot it a couple of times at the shop and then took it home to promptly put 30 arrows through it from 20-50 yards...What a wreck! As it turns out "per the instructions" you START with your 40 yard pin, then your 50. The 20 and 30 are super simple then as they can be moved manually and the 40 is hard fixed so that it can be used as the 50 (+) pin. Feels strange at first but it works!

I used this sight for a year and loved it. I found it to be dead on once dialed in. Set your 20 by moving the housing then 40, 50, or 60. I never had any trouble with it. Gave me total confidence that my pins were right. You can't argue with the math. Projectiles follow the path of the math. It's the law of nature. I wouldn't give up on it yet. Call Trophy Ridge for advice, they always responded to me requests for help.
