Trespass in Wyoming Pronghorn Unit 17

Hi Folks,

I'm new to the Gillette area and picked up a leftover Pronghorn tag for unit 17. The good part is that the season is an entire month and I live in the unit. The bad part is most of it is private, and from the GIS maps I've studied it looks like the little public that there is might be tough to access.

Anyone out there know a landowner I can call to negotiate a trespass with? I spoke with the Gillette game warden and he said they didn't keep lists of landowners anymore - I should have asked why but I'm not that smart.....

If you've hunted this unit or know anyone who owns land in it I'd appreciate whatever info you're willing to give. I don't need to shoot a monster (or even a buck), just something for the freezer. If you know what Gillette is going through this will make sense.

Worth your time to drive around and just knock on doors and ask. Tell them your willing to just shot a doe, bet you don't have to pay.
