Any one know the rules about transporting meat, horns etc.. and firearms through a National Park like Yellowstone? I'm thinking about applying for a tag in the Cody area next year and don't want to drive around Yellowstone way to long of a trip!
Thanks

That is a good question. I could see things getting a little interesting driving around Yellowstone with a big elk rack sticking out of the back of your rig! :) I have to say I think it would be pretty dang funny.

You can do it. You just have to fill out some paperwork at the entrance station. A few years ago a buddy of mine drove through the park to Cooke City and shot a buck in the backcountry early rifle season and was able to drive back through the park just fine. He said it was a pretty cool experience hauling that buck through there.
