Tikka t3 lite... Should I wait to buy?

I've been squirreling money away for awhile and putting other projects ahead of buying a t3 lite in 7mm mag. Knowing that Tikka is shortly going to be selling the 3x my question is, Should I wait until the t3 price drops to buy one (current t3 not the 3x so I can save a few bucks in order to buy better optics)?

Will the price drop in the next couple months of the t3 or is this wishful thinking?

Does anyone have some additional info on this? #fingerscrossed

Ya...I never wait on a firearm price drop. It rarely happens..and if it does come down a little it would be enough for you to run out and justify an extra 1K on a scope lol

The price really wouldn't drop much I would think. Usually the gun manufacturers run on very low markup.

I would just buy one, but if you want to save money try finding a used one.
I've picked up a few used rifles over the years and saved a ton of money, and this is the time of the year to get a used rifle fairly cheap. Example I wanted a back up rifle, so I bought a Browning Medallion A Bolt in 7 Mag with a Leupold 3x9x40 gold ring on it for $450 total. You can't buy the gun or the rifle new for that.

I'm game. Anyone looking to sell their t3 lite or t3 super lite in 7mm mag?

When buying a used gun, you must be patient grasshopper. Lol, going to take longer than you want, but you'll find one.

If it were me, and it has been several times, I'd go for the Superlight - Honestly they're not a lot lighter but it is noticeable and they do an outstanding job on the fluting - I'd next install a limbsaver recoil pad, Mountain Tactical or Extreme Hardcore Gear picatinny rail, "maybe" a steel recoil lug and go shooting - there is also a German company (Roedale?) making a model 70 style safety for Tikkas but order a left hand for a right hand rifle and vise versa as they are backward
