Tikka for women and youths

So I bought a new side x side and unknown to me it came with a coupon for a free gun. Horrible problem to have. However, the dealership that I have to use the coupon for does not carry much for options and really doesn't want to special order anything. However, Tikka is an option and I have been considering getting one of these for my wife and daughters.

I see the Tikka Compact is a youth/small frame option with a 12.5 in trigger pull but a 20in barrel. But, I can not seem to find if the T3 Lites have a shorter option. Anyone here know if the T3 Lites come in a youth version?

Tikka produces a T3 Lite Adjustable with an adjustable length of pull and check riser.

.260, .308, and 6.5X55 which would all be appropriate youth calibers.

What is everyone's thoughts on the Tikka Compact. Would it be ok for a smaller caliber with the 20 in barrel?

Yep. Have a Rem M7 in 7-08 with a 20", works great. Light handy, and accurate to moderate range. Gets a little dicey for me in the field much past 300. My issue, not the guns. Cartridges based on the 308 and the like, work OK in a 20" barrel.

shorter the barrel, the better the .308 would look over say the .260 or 7mm-08
