Thoughts on Roe Hunting Resources?

So........28 days till the archery opener here in Colorado. Anybody listened to Chris Roe speak about elk vocalizations? I just watched his Mastering Your Elk Calling; Does it Really Matter If You Know What You Are Saying on You Tube He had me thinking and laughing. Interesting and thought provoking. Check it out, I'd be interested what the gang thinks.

I subscribed after listening to him on a JayScott podcast. I'm not a very experienced elk hunter but I do have a couple trips worth of what not to do! His videos have been very informative for me. A lot of it makes perfect sense to me, I can only hope it does to the elk.
He is pretty high on Primos calls, don't know if he is associated with them or not. Also I haven't made it thru all 14 hrs of videos, but so far there is not as much actual elk recordings as I had hoped there would be.

I like the Primos reed calls myself. I have been using them for years. Chris has been a Primos pro staffer since 1999 so there is a reason he hypes up Primos calls.

Yes I did some more research on him and found that he was on the Primos pro staff. I've made it thru most of the videos now and there is some really good information. The strategies in action section has a lot of in the field videos which were what I was looking for.

steve chappel is another good resource to check out on calling and calls. I think the calls he supports sound more realistic than the primos calls.

I listened to a seminar with him the other week. He seems to make sense on what he trying to say. His previous experience seems to back it up. Haven't subscribed to website yet, but probably should since the calling season is nearing us.
