I just figured I had better start shooting the deer with something since buck fever usually gets the better of me while bow hunting so I decided to buy a decent camera.

Here are a few more which the 4 largest did not survive. 3 of the pics are of the same 2 deer but a year apart. Funny how bucks tend to basically have their "friends" that they group up with year after year.

Thanks jay. Its looking pretty bleak this year though. Our muley herd took a huge hit from some nasty winters. Our whitetails also took a hit from the winters and EHD last year. Those pics were during the peek of a healthy deer herd. I got spoiled and now reality has hit back home. I passed up shots on so many nice bucks that I would just be happy to see through the spotting scope these days.

Sounds like the same ol same ol story. Just sucks our deer aren't doing well theses days. I hope for a wet mild winter to recharge the herds. Great pics!
