I follow a lot of your threads on here but rarely post. A common complaint I see on here that keeps coming up is the problem surrounding public land being land locked by private property and inaccessible for hunting. This I am sure happens all over the west, but from what I see is that nowhere is this problem worse than in Wyoming.

Currently in New Mexico there is an active petition to somehow work out access to the SabinosoWilderness (a 16,000 acre landlocked wilderness area in NE NM). The link to this petition is as follows:

Please take a few minutes out of your day to review this issue and put your name on it if you agree with the cause.

I feel that something can be learned and applied to other areas with access problems in other states. I.e. Focusing on large landlocked tracts of public and relentlessly pleading our case to both politicians, land managers and agency heads. After all having a worthwhile cause based on sound reasoning doesn't guarantee that those who pull the strings will take interest.
