RSCN0384_zps307e218e[1].jpg that weatherby rifle would be an awesome gift to give to my son for his first deer hunt come fall. having him along with me has been the most fun I've had since I myself was walking through the woods as a kid.

Hey Eastman's! Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these great prizes! The Weatherby Vangaurd Synthetic Rifle Chambered in .257 Weatherby is the most exciting prize for me because I currently don't own a big game rifle! As a new hunter I have been exclusively using a bow for deer in NY and my buddys shotgun for turkey. It would be great to add a rifle so I can take advantage of those whitetail hunts in upstate NY!

Thanks!

Hey Eastman's! Here is me bowhunting during rifle season because I currently don't own a rifle. The Weatherby Vangaurd Synthetic Rifle Chambered in .257 Weatherby would be perfect for me to take advantage of my NY hunting opportunities and hopefully begin to adventure out of state!

Thanks!IMG_20141107_181504.jpg

Tax Day Giveaway--Badlands Sleep System!

Thanks for the gear giveaway Eastmans. It will make tax day less depressing. My favorite gear on the list is the Badlands Sleep System. (Runners up would be the awesome Kenetrek boots or the amazing Kryptek clothing.) I would use the Badlands Sleep System for my back country hunts. For example, last year I had a back country mule deer hunt in Utah at 10,000 feet elevation. I have several more backcountry hunts on the horizon with all my preference points (elk, moose, deer, and mountain goat).

This is one that I have been looking forward to for a while now, this will be the biggest giveaway that we have ever done on the forum. So without further ado, here is the list of products we will be giving away!

Mystery Ranch Marshal Pack-This pack is so new they don't even have it up on the website yet... $590

Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400 $475

Badlands Sleep System $500.00

Gerber Vital System $90.00

Kryptek Dalibor Jacket and Valhalla Pants

Camp Chef Rainier Combo $150.00

Fjallraven Keb Trousers, Timber Buck Jacket and Friluft Forest 35 Pack. $800

Yeti Tundra 65 Series Cooler, Hopper 20, and Colster- $800.00

Bowtech Experience-$1000

Weatherby Vangaurd Synthetic Rifle Chambered in .257 Weatherby- $1000.00

Cold Kids

I have to put this entry in for both my son Jake and daughter Gwen. They both have frozen their keisters off hunting with me. I think they both really would've appreciated the awesome Fjallraven combo while hunting through Montana mountains and sagebrush in -10 deg F conditions.

Mystery Ranch Pack or Badlands Sleeping System

It's quite difficult to pick from all of the items listed as I could sure use any of them. But, if I could choose only one from the list I'd have to say either the Mystery Ranch pack or the Badlands Sleeping System. Both would have come in extremely helpful during my 2014 Wyoming elk hunt...

Kenetrek Boots second post

If you guys choose me i promise to put these boots to good work. I lay down a lot of track over the course of the year and hunt every season there is from sheds and bears in april-june to cougars in january-febuary.I have dedicated most of my time and effort to Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep here in Alberta and to say i feel privileged or lucky to be able to do so is an understatement.Good gear is critical when mountain hunting and a pair of kenetreks would defiantly help put me that much closer to accomplishing a dream.A dream that gives me goosebumps and chills everytime i think about it.Like now.IMGP3355.jpg

the Fjall Raven system. I would use it for this years pack in hunt A great pack and new outer wear. I slipped on a rainy hunt last fall and busted the stap on my pack. Would have been nice to stay a little dryer.

The Fjall Raven pack would have helped get my buddies bull out of the back country while my pack was broken from a fall in the rain the week before! We still made due and got it hauled though!
