No, watching the show I am pretty sure he was hunting down by Ely. The shear number of bulls and elk they were seeing all but guarantees it wasn't one of the depredation locations.

Any idea when/if the tag result page will be created?? I was watching a hunting show the other day and the host said he drew a NV elk tag through the draw, but also hunted the same unit 4 years prior. So, if he hunted in 2013 he wouldn't be eligible till 2019 if unsuccessful in the old system. With the new system, he wouldn't be eligible till 2020 so I wanted to look up his name to see if he truly was successful through the draw system or was he buying landowner tags and making it sound like he was in the lottery with the majority of us that can not afford landowner tags.

Really not an issue, just wanted to check his name.
I was thinking the exact same thing. He said he hunted the same unit in 2013 in an earlier time of the year.
How did he draw another tag in 2017? Then again he didn't say it was a bull tag so he might have had a cow tag.

This is true, that is why I wanted to look up the tag results.....I find myself always looking up the hunters when it comes to NV after I try and figure it out the unit first. Most of the time I am not even close....LOL!

I logged on to the new Hunt Nevada Website and my bonus points are finally there. They do look correct. Glad to see they finally got it up and running.

Checked mine too and originally though they were missing some animals. But after further review, I think they have my numbers correct as well. Good deal, was getting worried there for a minute.

That sucks IKIC, I'm sure they will be able to get it ironed out, do you have documentation showing how many points you should have?

Thanks nv hunter!

I got it figured out with his help.

I didn’t see the change in points when I clicked on each animal. My points are correct.

On a side note not having to buy state stamps is nice. And only one youth license now and its a combo hunt /fish.

Mine are all there and correct.

They also have the draw stats for 2017 posted. Included is everyones 1-5 choices for all to see. I think my draw odds will be going down.

Super interesting format they are providing for bonus point data now. I kept thinking about it and can't come up with much of an advantage it gives you. Other than seeing how often a permit is drawn with a 2nd-5th choice, rather than a 1st choice applicant? But the way Nevada has processed the draw in the past, that shouldn't matter. Meaning, I understood they draw a hunter's application number first, then cycle through each of their choices, until an available permit is awarded. If none of the choices are available, they move on to the next hunter application number. Therefore, it wouldn't matter if I put a certain unit 1st, or 5th, it should be awarded, if the permit is available. Right?

Is there an advantage to the new format?

Nothing has changed. Now we're just able to see the how many applicants for choices 1-5. Our odds are still the same.

Anybody know when the new regulations book will be coming out or when they will get the hunt stats available?

This is correct.
