If I remember correctly it was the Democrats that raided the Social Security fund the last time for around 158 billion dollars back when Clinton was president and we had a Democrat controlled congress. President Johnson also raided it back in the 60's to pay for all of his social programs, and yes the Democrats also controlled congress at that time also
