We'll, I've been on the road since Monday the 7th traveling to British Columbia for my hunt! Since leaving California, I've driven 1769.5 miles to Dawson Creek BC. After staying in Kamloops BC , and Eugene Oregon and I'm not a Duck fan! I have to tell you all BC is a part of Canada you all have to see, it's beautiful! Today's drive will be to Fort Nelson, it's my last stay before heading to the lodge of Stone Mountain Safaris outside of Toad River BC . I'll tell you after driving this far I think I'm in horse shape! Matt, I wish I had a fly pole! Safe travels and good hunting!

Good luck Pete! Hope you tag em all! Maybe then you can relax and borrow a fly rod and do some fishing. Thanks for the updates. I feel like I'm riding along on this journey with you. Oh and you should be in horse shape after all the bike riding you've done . You know that old bike with a banana seat feels kinda like you're riding a horse. Lol. In fact you should have just packed it and rode it in to camp. That would be a sight. Good luck and GATA!

All, I'm in Fort Nelson for the night. Friday I head to the lodge! I'm ready to get out of the truck and get to hunting! This is truly beautiful country, I've never seen so many aspen trees that are golden now! Good hunting guys even you CC & JJ. Good fly tying Matt!

Rest well and enjoy your last night in civilization. You're fixing to be one sore a$$...between the hills and the horses.

I'm still slacking on the fly tying. Maybe next year.

Musket and all, I have a combo hunt, moose,elk, mountain goat, black bear, wolf & caribou. I just had a beer with a guy from Wyoming who is going after moose and mountain goat also. He's another smart guy he drove from Gillette and drives a GMC HD Denali also.

Man does that mean I'm smart to. I drive a GMC Denali 2500 HD. Damn Pete your alright with me.
