The boys caught a snake

We’re Down at my South Texas hunting camp, the boys caught a blue indigo snake this morning. A good one to have around camp!

I have a funny story about seeing my first one way back when I was still in the single digits.

I find it hilarious how we get used to things based on the regions we live. Earlier this fall we went to a friends ranch and the kids wanted to camp outside. The owners said they didn’t care but be careful because there is a grizzly running around. My kids had zero concern and surprisingly neither did I. I did think to myself how casual that whole conversation had just gone down....
If my kids even saw that snake...... they would want to get the hellllll out of Texas
