I'd love to know what camera folks used for these shots. I'm in the market for a good camera, but want something with only a few options, but capable of taking some quality photos. A pocket point & shoot is ideal when hiking, but some of these shots are fantastic and are not taken with one. I've narrowed down my choices, but curious what was used in this thread.

I'm a part-time "pro" photographer (meaning I actually have an LLC, file taxes, make some money, etc.). I have three Nikon DSLRs and multiple lenses (24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm VRII, 16-35mm f/4, 85mm f/1.4, etc.).

Have packed in my DSLR on a few hunts, but now I mainly shoot with my cell phone, a Galaxy S7. I do pull pictures to my computer on occasion and edit in Photoshop, but in general, the S7 does well.

My suggestion, use your cell phone camera. It's with you, light weight, takes pretty damn good pictures, and takes video as well.

I would be willing to bet that most of these pics were taken with cell phones. The current smart phones have excellent cameras. No reason to carry extra equipment!!
