First Antelope I ever saw Down was so red I thought the hunter had shot a moo cow.As I voiced my opinion the hunter gave me "The Look"your next mister!Congatulations on a sucessful hunt.
Yeah, it was a bit disappointing. They stopped their ATVs on the road adjacent to a buck that was bedded about 400 yds away and sat there and waiving at it until it headed for the next section. I?m pretty sure they were aware I was stalking the buck at the time. I would normally give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they didn?t know any better, but after accusing me of trespassing and telling me they only had doe tags earlier in the morning I?m sure it was intentional. Only one of them was wearing blaze orange too. Hopefully karma will run it?s course.
Drove 1300 miles, hiked 4 more, and killed this after a mile stalk. We?d just set camp a few hours earlier. Homework pays off! Filled a doe tag a couple days later. Had an amazing time.
New member here so figured I'd jump in a post a quick picture. Some really nice antelope posted - congrats to all. Here is my 2018 Wyoming buck, not big but the weather kind of made things a bit tough to get around. Fun hunt as always though, be back in 2019!!
