I'll start mid load and then load 3 rounds ea, 1/2 grain increases until I get to max and see how they group.

It's always fun to shoot a lower powered load in a high power rifle for special circumstances. For some reason that makes me giggle

I do like Sierra bullets. Here is my .220 Ackley Improved Swift. 3 shot group @ 100 yds, just over 4,000 fps.

Thank you, I do love it. It is totally custom. It has a 03 Springfield action, Shilen match SS barrel, Timney Trigger & Leupold VXIII 6x20 on top. I made the thumbhole stock.

It is unreal on Prairie Dogs.

That's rad! You don't see as many folks using that action anymore, and it's fun to see an unusual caliber getting some use

The reason I used that action is because it fit that stock. I made the stock many years ago with an 03 Springfield action. I sold the action and because the buyer was right handed, I kept the stock. Decided one day to make another rifle for the stock as it is really beautiful grained & figured Walnut.
