Thanks To Eastmans and Vortex

I just wanted to say thank you to Eastmans for being such a great magazine and forum. I always pick up the magazine every time I see it out on the newsstand. I was just informed today that I won the Vortex Range finding Binoculars, I'm thrilled. I've always thought a range finder would be an excellent addition to my hunting gear but I'm kind of a cheap bugger and have just done without. Now I get a set of really good binoculars and range finder in one! What could be better.

Once again a great big thank you to Eastmans and Vortex for this great give away. Also a shout out to Brandon for tracking me down by phone since my e-mail wasn't getting his message.

P.S. I'll let you know what I think of them, as I said I've never owned a range finder before but I've fooled around with my buddy's Leupold so I have at least something to compare it to.

The binoculars came while I was on holidays so I just picked them up a week ago Friday. I've only fooled around in the backyard and on one of our construction sites. Used the 100yd tape to measure out 100/200/300/400 on one of our lunch breaks. Put out a 20"x20" piece of plywood and ranged it at 100yd intervals. Spot on. Tomorrow my daughter and I are going on a hike into one of the alpine basins I hunt fish so I'll be taking them along to play with them some sore.
Once again thank you to Eastmans for being such a great magazine and forum, also thanks to Vortex for putting on such a great giveaway.
