Tenzing 6000

Anyone have any experience they want to share about this pack good or bad. I currently use a badlands super day which works great been real happy with it. When ever I need to pack meat on my back I use my badlands ox pack frame and have been happy with that. I am looking at a bigger pack just so I don't waste a trip coming out to get my pack frame and can bring a quarter out when I come.

Maybe the tenzing 5000 would be better. I understand the difference between the 5000 and the 6000 is the 6000 is for a taller dude not sure where the cut off is though.

Maybe someone uses something else that they could recommend. Looked at most of the packs out there the tenzing seems to be the one I am leaning towards but they are expensive. But I don't want a cheap pack so willing to spend some extra for the right one.

I have a Tenzing but can't remember the model. Didn't have any issues with it. I liked the big zippers.

I have a Tenzing 6000. I'm 6'2 and it works really well for me. Got it on Amazon fairly cheap.

I use the Tenzing 5000 and have packed many elk out with it. I can fit a hind quarter, front quarter, back straps, tenderloins and neck meat in the pack, and still have room for whatever else I carry with me. I don't even bring a pack frame anymore since buying this pack. Plus I had used mine for two seasons and a couple zippers stopped working correctly so I sent the pack in, and it was in a heavily used state, and they sent me a brand new pack no questions asked.

I bought the Tenzing 6000 for my first elk hunt this past fall. Muzzleloader hunted, packed in my gear for a couple days. Pack worked great, for me. I picked this pack due to my height, and at 6' 5" it fit me well. Too bad I didn't get to try it out fully loaded, maybe next time. Price wasn't bad either when you compare it to the Exo, Mystery Ranch, Kifaru, etc. high end packs.

If you're still looking for the Tenzing 5 or 6000, check out wingsupply.com. They've got them for less than $300. I just got one and I'm at 6'4" and it fits me perfect.

Hey thanks was just looking at one on craigs list for $250 used. Went to wings supply and they have the 5000 for $279 that's awesome.
