Just throwing this out there....I prioritize keeping me/gear dry maybe a little more than others in driving wind and afternoon rain/hail storms (kinda like what's going on the past few days in WY/ID/MT) For that reason I go lightweight two man tent with a vestibule for storage. When I checked the weight I was the same vs a tarp/trekking/hammock set up. Lastly as I got older I found most of my camping/gear decisions based upon how do I stay motivated after 5 days of hunting. Is this gonna help me keep going and press on to day 8 or 10.
