Kinda what I'm hoping for! Or thin out the cat population up there atleast before season.As soon as that bad boy is in your pack there wont be a cat for miles!
Got mine out of the mail today. In a weird way im excited about my horns shorter than ear antelope tag. Possibly the only hunt where I can sleep in a nice bed, wake up have some coffee. Glass off the porch and If I dont turn up anything from the porch ill hop on a 4 wheeler with the wife and kid on back and cruise a mile and glass again.
On the other hand still a bit intimidated by the deer tag. Have yet to draw a unit with as much potential as this year.

Hey Andrew, I'll be up in 222 next month for a week scouting for my elk. I'll pm you with pics of any good bucks I see

You betchya! Was gonna bail out last night around 3 p.m had the tent and sleeping bag all packed up. Started crunching numbers and realized that wouldnt of worked out so well.

I received my deer refund two weeks ago and my elk yesterday, pony express is a little slow around here.
