Any of you planning to hunt Durango, Silverton, Telluride or Cortez areas be prepared for monsoon rains. Starting Tuesday, rain showers are forecast thru next weekend. Bring your rain gear and get off the tops if it starts raining, thunder & lightning.

I live in the area and hope the rains show up and really hope for early snow hunting 4th season this year and little weather would help me out with that tag

Warmed up again and dry the last 3 days. My neighbor has been out hunting elk, but have not had a chance to talk to him.
