Surplus Doe tags in region 7

Any of you that are hunting with kids or need extra meat ,Montana game and fish turned loose some surplus doe tags( mule deer B) for region 7

They list them under district 007-03. Guess they mean region 007.

007-03 says mule. 3,505 tags if I read it correctly.

So you can hunt all of region 7? Do you know what they cost and is it during regular rifle season?
The whitetail says residents only, so can nonresident even get them, they sure don't explain it very well.

$75-80 I believe. You'd have to check the regs, but in the past my OTC B tags were good for rifle season.

They taste quite a bit better than a rutty ole muley buck to my palete, especially if close to Ag crops.

Actually I was thinking about getting an elk B tag for 311. They taste better than deer and I could get a chance to learn some new country!

the antlerless B tag in 007-03 is a region wide tag either resident or non resident. there are 3500 left right now the whitetail 007-01 is a resident only tag
