Hey guys, I was on Amazon today buying some gifts for my daughters upcoming 12th birthday. You can now setup your account to donate .5% of your amazon purchases to a charity of your choice. I chose RMEF but they also have Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, Mule Deer Foundation, and many other conservation minded organizations. If you buy from third party vendors, the donation doesn't apply which makes sense. If you already have an Amazon account, just go to the link below and choose your charity. One caveat is that you have to go to the url below instead of Amazons "www" address.

.5% may not seem like alot but I'm guessing Amazon sells hundreds of millions of dollars worth of merchandise to sportsmen and this could potentially be a huge boost to organizations that support our causes.

first thing that goes thru my mind is, What percentage does amazon keep for maintence fees?
You are charged the same price for Amazon Smile as for normal Amazon purchases, so choosing to designate a charitable organization to benefit only has a plus side.

If you buy through the normal Amazon channel, it all goes to Amazon.

That's awesome. I buy a ton on Amazon for business and personal. I'll take a look at that for sure.
