Storing a compound bow

Folks,
Just purchased my first compound bow a month ago. I was wondering how most folks store their compounds. Hard case, hang by cam, flat? Thanks for your advice.

I store mine in a case. I do shoot off and on year round so it never stays in storage too long. Usually December and January. Pull it out again in February to get ready for spring turkey.

Mine hangs by a cam when not being used. IMO biggest thing is to keep it out of direct sunlight and direct heat for long periods of time.

If its going to sit for a while, you can back some weight off of it to reduce string stretch...

I think either a hard case on it's side or hanging should be fine. I'd try hanging with the pressure on the actual limbs, rather than the cams. Idk but I am conscious of the cams picking up lean or something. Also, to eliminate the problem, just regularly shoot it! Good luck
