My little homeowner saw gave up the ghost so I saved a while to buy a new Stihl MS291. Used it a few minutes on last weeks trip , worked fine ,started easy, still have the fuel supplied by the shop at purchase. Looking over the manual, since Im less than mechanical, everything seemed pretty much common sense , until I got to the back cover;..................

According to California...everything you eat, drink, use or wear may cause cancer. Next on their list is sex, since they already list alcohol! I laugh every time I see one of those warnings as I was born and lived in good o"l California 58 years till I retired.

ear plugs are a good idea.

these aren't exact figures but, 2hrs of mowing at 120 db is similar to shorter louder sounds like say 1min at 160db etc...
