Read quite a few posts regarding the Steens, I will have enough points to draw next year and was going to take my Dad in there for one last Hooraw mule deer hunt for him. Have been tossing around hunting there, Silvies or even Whitehorse. I go into Whitehorse out of Denio junction every year for the last 10 years and know the area quite well so was also tossing a hunt in there around as well.
I was hoping maybe some of you could point us in some of the directions you went and had some action in the Steens... I'm going to start E scouting the unit then will be going over for a scouting trip in August and hopefully a second trip. Any way hope to hear from you, Thanks.
