Hello,

I have a neighbor who is looking to put some pressure on a prairie dog town that has grown over the last year from about 10 acres to nearly 50 acres. He asked me to lineup some hunters for this spring.

So this is what we have to offer.
Old farm house to stay in NW Nebraska about 15 miles south of Chadron. 50 acre prairie dog town on his property along with several hundred turkeys who hang around his corrals and barns. Turkey hunting can be as easy or difficult as you want to make it. Tags are OTC. I can also give you directions to a couple of p-dog towns on public land in the area if you need more to shoot at.

Completely DIY. Shoot me a pm if you are interested.

Spoke to the landowner this morning. Due to lack of interest in prairie dog hunting he is going to trap and poison them instead. I figured more people would be interested in hunting a town that has had no pressure but most people were simply interested in hunting turkeys and the landowner did not feel it would make much of a difference in knocking down the prairie dog population which was his goal for the spring.

As I said earlier the landowner felt like the people he spoke to were not really interested in prairie dog hunting he decided to poison the town. He is not interested in turkey only hunts. Sorry for the confusion.

If you are looking for some prairie dogs on public ground try these spots.

South Side of HWY 20 West of Shawnee, WY about 5 miles.

And directly North of the Ogallala Grasslands Warbonnet Battlefield Monument near Crawford, NE.
